Comb. Van Bogaert - Hataney, Maastricht (NL)

Introduction

 


The combinatie Van Bogaert-Hataney is made by the 45 year old Lambert van Bogaert and the 40 year old Frans Hataney. Frans Hataney has started with pigeons, Lambert van Bogaert has raced before with his father, with the name F. van Bogaert and Son. In 1997 there pigeons were sold on an auction. But Lambert could not life without pigeons. Each long distance race he visited  Max and Ad Saya. He memories the great victory with the 1st  internat. Perpignan won by the “Martha”. Lambert, Ad Saya and Pierre Bovens were watching and saw the last meters of this  1st price winner.

In 2000 a new start was made as Comb. van Bogaert-Hataney. There came pigeons from Max and Ad Saya and two pigeons from Comb. Bovens-Roosebeek (Pierre) also from Maastricht. The loft was a copy of the loft of Ad and Joop Saya.

As said before, they started in november 2000 with late youngsters. In 2001 these pigeons where raced with the youngsters of 2001. And in 2002 it would be serious ! Because they only want to race the long distance races, their goal are the races from Limoges - Bordeaux - Marseille.

 In 2003 they will compete on every long distance race, also they want to compete for the National Marathon and West-Europese Super Marathon. Watching on the results of 2002, the expectations are great and they are candidate for many championships !
